I haven't updated since new year.... hehehehe. What a way to start the new year, eh?
So, I've been pretty busy with work, family etc. There's a huge change at work and we're in the midst of the transition. A structural change might not be welcomed by most people, but I like it. New function comes with new job scope. New job scope means new responsibilities. More responsibilities can always be used as the reason to be more demanding.... hehehehe. Now, let's think like a Diva and think of what else I could ask from the boss (dapat tak dapat, belakang cerita la kan..... janji mintak... hehehehe).
Spill over of projects from Nov and Dec 09 are also causing me to be busier than usual. Ever since I returned from my maternity leave I found myself surrounded by work. I just couldn't understand it. Was I over committing or have I been taking my own sweet time during the pregnancy?
Well, another thing that has been keeping me super busy is this Biggest Loser Asia. Not the TV program..... the online Biggest Loser Club Asia PROGRAM! Yup, I'm paying them money to learn on how to eat and exercise right so that I could shed a few pounds.
One week into the program, my eating habit still doesn't change. It's just that I binge less and always avoid second helpings. My weigh in day is tomorrow. I'll probably check my weight early in the morning. The target set for my program is to lose 0.5 - 1kg in a week. It's pretty reasonable for somebody who has a desk job and always takes the elevator (even when I only need to go 1 floor up). The best part is the menu plan. It resembles my daily menu - only that it recommends healthy recipe and how to substitute food. Taking up this program didn't shock my whole system and I'm beginning to enjoy it.
Why it's keeping me busy? Well, one of the features is the Diary where I have to jot down everything I eat and every exercise I did in a day. It will later do a calculation of IN and OUT energy. My target is to have a negative 3500 kCalorie everyweek in order to achieve my target weight. There's a lot of Maths to be done and a lot of Calories to be burnt.
I'm giving my 6 months' commitment for this. I have to make it work, or else ... or else.... or else what, eh? Or else just stay fat as usual lah... hahahahaha.....!!!!
You see, it's not that I'm not determined or what. I just don't enjoy pushing myself to the brink. Perhaps that's why I'm still happy although I'm not a size 8 (yet!).
